The Cover 1 draft crew has been busy over the last few days, along with everybody else on staff. From the first round to Mr. Irrelevant, here is what the guys have been saying about the NFL Draft:
Russell Brown (@RussNFLDraft)
Austin Bryant was the 147th ranked player on my board. I thought he was more of a 5th round pick but I can live with trading down and taking him. He provides some versatility w/ability to standup and put hand in the dirt. Plays well at LOS, needs a better PR plan but productive.

Like the aggressiveness from Tavai and he's certainly been considered a thumper. Takes the RB off his path and then chases down the QB. Helps contribute to the fumble. Hopefully, he can create these opportunities for the Lions. pic.twitter.com/69Dn7UGYQo

Michael Jordan going to the Bengals is a solid value pick. Was 121st ranked player on my board and will be teammates again with Billy Price. Jordan was the first true freshman to start at Ohio State since Orlando Pace. Bengals should move Jordan back to LG.

Hey Bengals fans, I know some of you aren’t happy with drafting a quarterback. Cheer up! The one you drafted has potential to become a starter and here’s my breakdown of exactly what Ryan Finley is and can become. This is from November. Enjoy! https://t.co/yLpbbSFnGd

The Washington Redskins have had a terrific draft. Dwayne Haskins, Terry McLaurin, Bryce Love and Kelvin Harmon are terrific pieces to build around on offense. Also, Montez Sweat is a day one starter on defense. Great draft for them.

Miles Sanders is said to be a match made in heaven at Philly with the 53rd overall pick. Though that may be true, don't forget that Sanders posted the worst fumble rate among the top 36 RBs in this class at 34.6 touches per fumble (including returns). #NFLDraft #FlyEaglesFly pic.twitter.com/9JOewHbD3S

I'm sure I will get this thrown back in my face at some point but when you watch Gardner-Johnson you can make a lot of Tyrann Mathieu comparisons based on frame, range, hit power, intensity, versatility, anticipation and instincts. #NFLDraft #WhoDat #Saints

Myles Gaskin is picked 234th by the #Dolphins. Gaskin entered the #NFLDraft with the most touches among running backs and the only one to top 1,000 career touches! https://t.co/zBX2npCW57 pic.twitter.com/EsSum70b8J

Dexter Lawrence to NYG at 17. Already having Dalvin Tomlinson, I’m not sure how that works out with two similar early down players. Redundant move. https://t.co/CFTMfLiA7L

The #Browns getting Greedy Williams at #46 overall is easily one of my favorite picks of the entire draft so far.
Pairing him with Denzel Ward has the potential to be a terrific young duo on the outside. pic.twitter.com/larQsWziu2

Juan Thornhill, my top-ranked safety, is a great pick for the #Chiefs. A 5x high school state champion and 13 career INTs at UVA, he frees up Tyrann Mathieu to become an ultimate chess piece in that defense.
Great pick.

Dru Samia is another great pick for the #Vikings. Nasty, tone-setter that has experience at RG and RT. Perfect fit in their zone scheme.
— Jordan Reid (@Jordan_Reid) April 27, 2019
Amani Oruwariye is a great pick for the #Lions. Big, physical corner that is great at high pointing the ball out of the air. Perfect fit in Patricia’s scheme.
— Jordan Reid (@Jordan_Reid) April 27, 2019
The #Cardinals are having a solid draft. Lamont Gaillard is outstanding value in the 6th round. He’ll contribute quickly along that OL. Possibly at center with Mason Cole.

Here’s my profile and scouting report on Oli Udoh. An ideal athletic OL project that you want. pic.twitter.com/Xsbv2lMA8C
