The Buffalo Bills (7-3) shook off a slow start in Detroit to fend off the Cleveland Browns (3-7), 31-23. The Bills struggled on offense early, but eventually the rushing attack kicked into high gear, as the script was flipped on the Browns. Josh Allen was efficient with the football and had no turnovers. Devin Singletary and James Cook each rushed for 86 yards, and the Bills overcome some questionable officiating to seal the victory. Buffalo’s defense held Cleveland’s rushing attack to a mere 80 yards, and came up with some critical 3rd down stops as the game progressed. Matt Milano further bolstered his case for defensive player of the year consideration. Ed Oliver and the defensive line had a solid day, but there are still question marks in the secondary. The Bills now get a short few days to rest ahead of their Thanksgiving showdown with the Detroit Lions on this very same field.
