The Buffalo Bills rebuilt their secondary during the 2017 offseason and safety Jordan Poyer was one of the top acquisitions. Poyer played out of his mind and emerged as one of the team’s premier playmakers.
Jordan Poyer Highlights
Jordan Poyer’s teammate and fellow safety Micah Hyde earned a Pro Bowl nod last year but the 27-year old made a strong case to garner that recognition himself. He tallied 95 tackles, four tackles for loss, two sacks, five interceptions. He was PFF’s second-highest coverage grade among qualifying safeties. Against the run, his 34 tackles ranked No. 12 at the position while allowing just 59.1-percent of passes targeted in his direction to be completed and opposing quarterbacks posted a 60.1 passer rating when throwing at Poyer.
Here are his highlights from the 2017 NFL season.
