Who Will Coordinate the Offense?

After traveling to interview with the San Francisco 49ers, Buffalo Bills interim head coach Anthony is now on his way to interview with the hometown team.

According to Ian Rapoport, Lynn is flying down to Boca Raton, Florida to meet with the Bills’ brass. There is no mention whether or not Doug Whaley will be at those meetings but based on the recent news, it is fair to assume that he will be.

The pit stop in the sunshine state will not be Lynn’s last stop, he has several interviews lined up. Out of all of the up and coming coordinators, Lynn appears to be one of the top names on the coaching market.

Part of the interview process are for teams to hear the prospective coaches’ plans with the offensive and defensive personnel. That typically starts by outlining the staff Lynn will be bringing with him and to disclose their philosophy. There are reports that former head coach Jaguars Gus Bradley has been tied to Anthony Lynn as his defensive coordinator. Something that I could totally get behind, given his defensive scheme and I would imagine, based on the other candidates lined up to interview (4-3 coordinators), bringing in Bradley would be a great move.

Who will he bring in as his offensive coordinator? Will he call plays himself? Does he promote from his current staff in Buffalo? Will he bring in a big name coordinator?? Only time will tell…
